What’s on the Menu?
This German-themed eatery has a menu on a par with many traditional German eats up for grabs.
Some of the top hits include eisbein, pretzels, schnitzels of the chicken or pork variety and sausages galore. The snack platters are great for a casual lunch with friends as well as providing the opportunity to try a little of everything.
Those who prefer something a little more slimming can crunch away on salads stacked with buffalo mozzarella, grilled chicken or squid and sausage.
For something totally unique, try the Alpine pizza made with Gruyere cheese, crème fraiche sauce and all your favorite toppings.
The dessert menu is another crowd pleaser with plenty of classics up for grabs like waffles with ice cream and chocolate sauce, strawberry cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding.
There is a wide range of local as well as international beers on tap. The Mass, 1 liter glass is the perfect cure for the Cape Town summer heat, or to put a subtle warm glow on your cheeks in wintertime.
